For sale is a Mercedes Benz SLK 230 AMG sport edition convertible. It has always been garaged and well taken care of. I purchased it fully loaded with BOSE premium sound system, 6 disc CD changer, cassette player, AM/FM, AMG Sports package with 18" AMG Chrome wheels, Black leather seats, and tinted windows. Everything works like the day I purchased the vehicle. I've done all of the scheduled services at the local Mercedes dealership. It has an aftermarket chrome Mercedes grille and the factory grille will come with the sale of the car. The Factory Mercedes Radio has been replaced with a Soundstream 4.3" Touchscreen TFT-LCD which is Bluetooth, and I-Pod ready. It plays DVD's and CD's and has a navigation system with antenna provided through the installed NAVIBOX-1 system. The microphone for the bluetooth is mounted near the gear shifter. The factory radio will come with the car. The wiring was not damaged and the radio can be reinstalled if needed. The chrome wheels are 18" with chrome Mercedes center caps. There is some minor curbing on the front two wheels and some minor spotting on the rims, but is not noticeble unless up close. The wheels shine really great and looks really good on the car. The front tires are Toyo Proxes 4 in size 225/40R18 and the rear are Continental Contipro Contact 255/35R18. Both rear tires have 1 plug in each from a nail, but professionally done. Last week, the car had the oil pan gasket replaced, new oil, coolant flush and change, and all services have been done. I had the weather seal which is goes around the convertible top replaced by Mercedes and cost over $500. The anti-jack light (picture #16) stays on and I had it checked out by Mercedes, they said there is no problem and to not worry about it. The center console is the only thing that is worn which is why the ashtray and compartment is not straight. The console itself has some cracking due to normal wear and tear from age. The center console is something I am looking to do and will replace with BUY IT NOW or with reasonable offers. The seats have signs of wear which can be seen in the pictures, and the drivers seat more than the other one. Everything works as it is supposed to. This car also has a factory installed radar detector (picture #15) which is mounted at the front of the car on the lower part of the bumper and is pictured. The visual and audio alert is customly ran inside the vehicle. The current sale of this car is AS-IS. The mileage is currentIy 77,179 and will increase some because the is a primary mode of transportation. I attempted to list this vehicle as detailed as possible. Once in, the dash/interior console panel with be repaired. This all will be done well in time to take possession of the car. * There are no leak on this car. I just spent $1100 to have the leak repaired. There was a leak coming from the oil pan gasket. The shop did a diagnostic and I had there repair that and anything else that needed to be done.
