1972 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE *** NO RESERVE *** I originally bought this car over 5 years ago from the granddaughter of the original owner. This was going to be a daily driver for me but I wound up having kids right after I purchased it and it was no longer a practical vehicle. I've kept it garaged since I bought it and I haven't driven it for the last 3 years. You can see by the plate that the registration expired June 2008. I did start the car occasionally just to keep everything running smoothly. We're moving out of the state and it's time to let the car go. The car runs good and has low mileage for a car that's close to 40 years old. I replaced the carpet and will include the extra piece I bought to replace the carpet on the doors, map pockets and rear seats. As you can see in the photos I have the original owners manual and parade boots. As you can see by the pictures the car looks great for one that has no restoration. This car is priced to sell. There is some work that needs to be done but not work that will keep it from driving down the road. The AC compressor does not work and was bypassed. The car is leaking a little transmission fluid. There are some cracks in the dash and in the leather seats. The drivers seat has the most wear. There is very minor body damage. On the passenger side front quarter panel the paint has been touched up by the previous owner but it isn't that noticeable. The drivers side rear quarter panel has a small dent at the back. There is some discoloration and minor surface rust on the bumpers. The convertible scisor top manually goes up and down smoothly. It does not work by the switch. The shop I took it to told me it needs new cables and new fabric. The cost I was quoted was $995 for a top with a plastic rear window and new cables.
