NO RESERVE AUCTION. IT WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. Mechanics Special: Up for auction is a 2000 Jaguar XJ8 with 87,114 miles. It’s black on black, fully equipped. This was a local trade. Upon inspection we were told it has an upper intake manifold leak. The wheels were removed and the brakes were inspected. The tires and brakes are about 70%. Overall the car is in good condition. The leather interior is in nice shape; the body is just as nice with minor scratches and scuffs. The car was road tested and it drives very well, but keep in mind the upper manifold gasket must be replaced. If you have any questions or would like to see other pictures, let me know. On Jun-13-11 at 08:34:57 PDT, seller added the following information: We had some questions asking if the vehicle was driveable. It is driveable, but like I said in my listing it needs an intake manifold gasket. It is not leaking antifreeze. It did not blow head gaskets. The car runs very well. At this time, we have other vehicles that we are working on. We presently do not have the time to repair this vehicle. It is a very common occurance with XJ8s with intake gaskets. There are no other lights on, just the check engine light for the intake gasket. All the power options work as they should. The air conditioning and heating system work perfectly fine. The tires are about 70% and the brakes are about 50%. This is just a nice car that needs very little attention. It will be sold to the highest bidder.
