Selling this for a good friend! Please ask all questions before buying !It does need some repair work done. Being sold AS IS for repair or parts. Brand new tires less than 1 month old at a cost of $591.84 . It is overheating and probably needs a new head gasket. Also the catalytic converter needs replaced but they already purchased it and are throwing it in with the purchase of the truck. You just have to supply the labor to install it. Costs over $100 for this part. Below is some information they sent me: 1997 GMC sierra extended cab 1500 2x4 its has roughly 218k miles on it the hazzrads are broken, and the igination swtich has been replaced with a light switch but works just fine. Has some body rust in a few place needs a new head gasket i think because it keeps over heating. This Has brand new 15 in.tires all the way around has a new cadilatic converter, has a bed liner and bumper hitch. again please ask questions ! I will get with them and let you know asap.
