This "real-deal" '62 Dodge Max-Wedge Crossram car has been sitting since about 1966!! It was sold new at Spitzer Motors in Cleveland Ohio, was raced in that region till about 1966 & has been stored since then. The last owner bought it in 1992 from the family that had it since '66. It is a real Max-Wedge car!! The v.i.n. is listed in Darrel Davis' book, it has the original fender tag, original v.i.n. plate is still intact, both body numbers match the s.o. number on the fender tag, a decoding of the tag from Galen & a clear title. The fender tag & decode show it is an original red automatic car with a tan interior. I recently had the body media blasted & took most of these pictures before spraying the body in black epoxy sealer for storage- as you can see, it is completely disassembled & has a lot of rust but the frame rails are very solid, the fenders are rough but not garbage- the guy that bought it in '92 blasted the bottom of the car & painted it as you can see in the pics.. I do not have the side glass, seats or door panels- I believe I have most of the stainless trim for the car, I also have the bumpers with brackets, a 62 big block trans., a 62 413 block that wasn't an original maxie but has the right date & casting number, one pair of 4 bolt valve covers, all the front suspension parts & some other small miscellanious items. A friend of mine will sell his maxie heads & intake to whoever gets this car for $3000.
