Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on an extremely RARE 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 that has been FRAME -OFF restored and is Numbers Matching. This is one of the rarest Camaros first off that this particular color (14) Pewter was only available in 1972. This is a Norwood Built car and this is probably the HOTTEST color combination for a Camaro. The exterior Color is the way it was born-PEWTER, the interior color is the way it was born-WHITE, with WHITE racing stripes. The interior door panels are the way it was born -black with white accents. This is a Factory Documented Z-28 with a Norwood Broadcast sheet! I have a photo album of the restoration as it was taken down to bare metal. For you NUMBERS guys (like me) the Cowl Tag Reads: ST72, 12487NOR, 154358BDY,TR 780, 14, 14 PNT, 11DA51, Z28, ZR8. The Engine numbers are 12N141669, the Muncie Trans numbers are-12N141669, P2S17B. Since the OFF FRAME restoration this car has only 1k miles on it driven only to CAR shows. The engine, trans, rear end, fuel lines, brake lines have all been rebuilt and was given a throaty exhaust that makes it sound awesome. This car idles, runs and drives as if it were brand new. This 1972 Z-28 is a Multiple first place show winner at many venues. This Z-28 was judged most recently March 4th, 2011 at the CHEVYVETTEFEST at THE WORLD OF WHEELS SHOW in Rosemont Illinois and was awarded a GOLD SPINNER CONCOURS-(Gold Spinner Registry Number-GS-1103-401) This car HAS to have all the right stuff and be totally stock and CLEAN to bear this accolade. This is also the lowest production year for Camaros due to the Factory strike that year. The car has a deep, clear, wet look that is awesome. The interior shows as new with no rips, tears or any showing of wear as it was never used. This is a turn-key show car that is ready to go. All mechanics including suspension is new and rebuilt-restored-no aftermarket components-stock. All of the chrome and stainless have been redone to SHOW quality-you can do your hair in the chrome. All of the gauges/lights function as new. As you can see by the high quality pictures that nothing was skimped on when this car was restored to its original state when it was born. The judges scored this car just south of a possible 1000 points-980!!!!!! They do not get any better than this. Inspections are welcome along with third party inspectors. My collection of vehicles are stored in a temperature controlled building and are for show. This car has never seen a store parking lot and never been out in the rain. Full spare and original jack in trunk. This car attracts A LOT of attention no matter where you are. Title is clear. Car was originally from Florida. If you need financing go to www.jjbest.com they can finance with long terms or go to woodside credit they can also finance with long terms. DO NOT buy this car without having your $$$ lined up.
