Vehicle Detail
1979 WS6 Trans Am sourced from dry rust free Arizona and brought to Iowa in February. Clear Arizona title. Loaded rust free NON RUNNING WS6. Needs complete restoration. This car is for the person interested in a rust free starting point but not wanting to trust someone elses restoration. You do the work, you know it's done right. 400 automatic with 4 wheel disc brakes, front and rear sway bars, cloth interior that is sun baked requiring everything BUT no rust to repair. I have $2500 in this car. $1700 to buy and $800 to bring from Florence Arizona to Iowa. I've done the hard part-getting it here. CLEAR TITLE Terms: Pick up within 60 days. $250 non refundable deposit, balance paid within 4 weeks, pick up within 8 weeks AND no zero feedback bidders please. On Jun-09-11 at 08:31:48 PDT, seller added the following information: A bidder asked about the front fenders on the car. They are dented but the car came with a complete rust free / dent free front clip off a 10th anniversary Trans Am. You might be able to see some of the parts in the photos. It includes rust free / dent free front fenders (inner and outer) rust free dent free spare core support incl front rubber, perfect hood. This MAY BE included in the sale IF the bidding gets close to what I have in it. Guys (and gals) I am doing this only because of a divorce and I have 3 incomplete cars (no, not other Pontiacs) that are being scrapped for $200 a piece that I have at least $1500 in them. I am losing my arse. So, when I bought this Trans Am. The guy quoted me a price delivered and I said sure because I don't haggle. So, $2500 delivered it to me with clear Arizona title. Now, I it is up to the Poncho buying community to determine if I overpaid. Look, it's a cinnamon brown car (yuck) but the body is FANTASTIC so paint it whatever color you want. But please do yourself a favor and check the Site Mash (JAXED) for what you get out of the rust belt for what I am looking for. I just want to get some of my money back. If the auction ends for less then $1000, then NO front clip. I can crush it for about $50. If the auction ends from $1000 to $1500, the front clip is $100. (If you want it) [You need to take it all] If the auction ends from $1501 on up, the front clip is included free with the car. PLEASE do your research and see that these kind of rust free muscle projects, brought from the desert to the midwest - are RARE RARE RARE. And with the high crusher prices, they are getting crushed or parted, then crushed. This is an intact, top of the line, well sorted car that has all the bells and whistles a person can want and the bolts won't break off due to rust. It is amazing underneath the car. DRY! Time is money. Do you want to spend your time and money cutting out rusted hardware and paying the welder to patch in new quarters or not? On Jun-11-11 at 07:47:22 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a 403 automatic car. I have added a photo of the engine to PROVE it is a 100% + intact car. It's dusty, that's Arizona dust. It sat for many years. Has oil on the dipstick. I have also included a photo of the 10th anniversary hood as a representative of the other parts that come with it. Obviously, hoods don't rust very much any more but the front fenders are sweet, very straight, easy to sand and use with additional flares. Plus another (heavy) core support with everything attached.
