It does not run on regular gasoline and can not be converted to run on gasoline. There are specialized filling stations across the country to fill this van, or you can get a Fuelmaker to fill it at home. Visit the U.S Department of Energy EERE website for more info and fueling stations locator. This is a Ford factory setup. These units were sold directly from Ford just like a normal gasoline van. Most were purchased by government agencies. For Michigan Residents: CNG is$1.949 /gal and it has been since 2005. There is a station in Muskegon, Grand Rapids, and numerous ones in the Metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area. They are all run by Michcon/DTE. Also, Michcon just received a large stimulus grant and has purchased a whole new fleet of CNG vans, and is upgrading their stations, so CNG is here to stay in Michigan. This van is in great shape! The owner is conducting business differently and no longer needs a cargo van. Always starts right up and runs great. No leaks or drips. Everyone compliments on how clean and shiny this van is for a 2000 model. WELL MAINTAINED: This van is very clean and has always been well maintained. Recent repairs include a new power steering pump, transmission flush, front end alignment. front pads and rotors, rear pads, coolant flush, rear axle flush. Other repairs in the last 30,000 miles include complete tune up, coalescent filter, ball joints, shocks, fan clutch and more. Always washed, kept clean, and cared for. VERY CLEAN VAN: Non-smoker! Only 2 owners. Originally from Georgia, this van has only seen five Michigan winters, so there is no rust or rot on the body. The underside only has normal light surface oxidation/rust on the iron parts that any vehicle gets. Very clean underneath for a 10 yr old van, and escpecially for Michigan. Everything works on the van as it should. The interior is very nice. Drivers seat only has a couple of light cracks in the vinyl. The cargo area is very clean also as this was used mainly to haul boxes and furniture. Paint is very shiny and nice. Only a few normal scratches and dings on the van. There is a small dent on the top of the drivers fender, another hard to notice dent on the pasenger side upper rear corner, and 2 small golf ball size dents below the passenger side tail light. Hard to notice in the pictures, but the bumpers have the light normal surface rusting which is common on Ford vans. Overall as you can see in the pictures, this van looks very nice and sharp looking for a 2000 model!! Van rides down the road nice. Shifts find and handles like it should. No leaks or drips on the driveway. Michelin LTX Front tires have 4/32" tread. Rear Michelin tire has 5/32" and the Rear Definity tire has 8/32" tread. There are a total of 3 Tanks underneath. One large one parallel to the frame, and two small ones in the back where the spare tire normally goes. This holds approx 16GGE of CNG and the driving range is usually 200-250 on a fill up. Approx 12-15 MPG depending on driving conditions and temperature.
