1974 XL70 THIS IS A RELIST. BUYER DID NOT PAY. Up for sale today is my 1974 Honda XL70. The XL70 was the bigg brother in the Honda Mini Trail family sporting a beefier cam rod, better carburetor, a standard 4 speed manual transmission and spark advance, making them faster and giving them a better hole shot. Something special about this bike is that the VIN numbers on the frame and engine are only 12 apart (frame: 1016059, engine: 1016047)! Anyone who knows anything about these bikes knows that engine and frame VIN's never matched and were usually 200-300 #'s apart. To find anything this close is incredible! The bike is currently not running (I believe it is due to valve issues), but the engine turns over freely and the transmission shifts through all 4 gears just as it should. The gas tank on the bike is in perfect condition with absolutely no dents and a rust free inside. The fenders have some dents, but nothing major and no bends. The only things missing are the turn signals, exhaust guard, and speedometer cable. Anything that is unoriginal or missing can be seen in the pictures.
