Though the term is thrown around quite often….very few individuals really seem to truly understand what the phrase “no hit” Corvette should exemplify. However that is not the case with this particular classic Corvette. This one is a TRUE no hit vehicle in every sense of the word {with very good mileage for its age}! The body of this one is very straight and all of factory {inner and outer} seams can still be traced along the inner body lines. The doors shut extremely nice and there are no sagging panels along the exterior. The factory correct smoke T-tops are in great shape and the original Astro -Vent glass is in very nice condition as well. This well preserved classic has never been repainted {outside of its factory covering}. The {192 RPO Code} Tuxedo black paint is still extremely nice & the car maintains a high gloss shine. There are a couple of spots on the car that show minor scratches, but nothing major {the most noticeable being one on the front bumper about a inch in diameter & on the passenger quarter}. Once again nothing really to be concerned about, but always worth mentioning. Compliments are more than plentiful each and every time this Corvette leaves the garage. The factory correct {192 code black leather interior} almost has to be seen to be truly appreciated! The seats & carpet are in outstanding shape. The seats nor seat covers have ever been replaced. That being said they are firm, crisp…yet very comfortable. The cockpit is beautiful and the overall interior presents itself very well. I would also like to mention “this Corvette is equipped with working power locks {AU3} and power windows” ! The factory 15x8 Rally wheels are all original and still look extremely nice {no curbing or road rash}. This wonderful Corvette was used sparingly and sat covered for approx. 7 years at one point. Therefore almost all of the components involving the car exemplify the way it was when it was released. It is equipped with A/C & a power antenna that still works. The Rally’s are wrapped in new 255/60/15 {front} & 255/60/15 {rear} BFG raised white letter wide track performance tires! The wheel and tire combination looks great & the offset of the tires provides an aggressive appearance with excellent handling! The turn signals indicators work both inside and out. The head lights still function perfectly along with the wipers & the other gauges. This Corvette also has “ NO RUST ISSUES” to speak of and the frame is rock solid. The brakes are in great shape and the car runs extremely cool. It has a modern Pioneer cd stereo & awesome quality speakers for the hatch. I am including the factory original 8 track tape/AM:FM radio with the sell of the car as well {unique & rare} . This Corvette is a great representation of an unmolested Chevy Corvette. *NOTE* This classic Corvette is a rare find. Factory black ext./black int. tilt, low mileage vehicle! This time capsule also still has its original{Y-F5} California smog pump! The original 5.7 block is in tact and it runs strong! This 350 is really free flowing and dependable. As with all carbureted muscle cars it can be cold natured in the morning. However after she gets running it doesn’t miss a beat. The ULTRA RARE 4 speed transmission shifts excellent & this 81 starts without hesitation. THE CAR IS A SHEER PLEASURE TO DRIVE! There were only around 5000 of the 30,000 Corvettes produced this year with a manual transmission. Serious conversation piece with your buddies & local cruise ins. The oil has only been used religiously changed and the fluids have been consistently flushed.
