Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1991 Mazda Miata 5 speed. This vehicle has 180,146 miles on it today 6/4/11. The mileage will increase (most likely by 50 miles) by the end of the auction because I will be using it to get to work. It is in very good condition and has been recently serviced. It has small and very few cosemtic issues and the only mechanical issue is that the A/C does not work. I have not checked to see why the A/C does not work because I haven't found the need to use it because it is convertible. Also the Soft Top will need a new Rear Window sewn in. The Soft Top is in perfect condition otherwise (See Pictures). Yes the Matching Hard Top is included. The Driver's Seat is torn that is why it has a seat cover over it & the Trunk Carpet is missing. The Timing Belt, Water Pump, Spark Plugs, and Spark Plug wires were replaced at 179,000. Also the Brake Fluid & Power Steering fluid were changed at that time. Also the muffler was replaced at that time because one of the baffles came loose inside and it rattled. The tires are in great condition. This vehicle has disk brakes all the way around and the front pads are at 6/32" and the rear pads are at 7/32". It brakes perfect, no pulsation, no squishy pedal. The Emergency Brake holds and does not need to be adjusted. It drives straight, steering wheel is straight and the tires show no indication of needing an alignment. It does not vibrate at any speed. The engine does not leak. The Flip-Up Head Lights work perfect. All lights outside and inside lights work. The only modifications that have been done is the Novelty Roll Bar behind the seats and the CD player. No interior trim plastic or carpet was damaged during installation of the Roll Bar and it can be easily removed (Note: it is not a true Roll Bar, It is for show. It will not save your life if you flip the car). The soft top can be put up with the Roll Bar still in place. I know the car looks small but I am 6'0" tall and I have plenty of head room. I did not install the CD player, I bought the vehicle with it and it is included with the car. If you have any questions feel free to ask, this car is a great buy and it is ready to go for the summer time.
