1996 CHEVY SILVERADO 2 WHEEL DRIVE WITH VORTEC 350 AND 4L60E TRANSMISSION. Almost brand new tires with agressive tread, they have only approx. 6,000 miles on the tires. Clear Title. The truck drives and handles very well and has plenty of power. It has aprox. 227,400 miles. The truck does not smoke or use oil, I have found a GM Goodwrench sticker on both engine and transmission which leads me to believe they have been changed but I have no documentation to prove it. The truck has cruise control. It has power locks and windows and all does work, the passenger door lock is slow to move but moves more freely with frequent use. It has the normal wear and tear and dings for a 15 year old truck. The a\c compressor was swapped for a bypass pulley due to the compressor locking up with previous owner although I had it checked with a mechanic and was assured that with a new compressor and o-rings the a\c will work. One of the power steering lines developed a leak from sitting, I have checked and its $32.99. I believe the engine has a small vaccum leak due to it idling up when you put it in gear but idles back down to normal within a few seconds, it normally only does it once after startup.
