Rare 1989 Honda GB500 Tourist Trophy with 5,814 miles. Factory original styled as a classic British solo saddle "cafe racer. Single cylinder 500cc "thumper" - tremendous torque and really fun to ride. Runs great. Bike came out of Florida and had its factory original Bridgestones, the condition of which would suggest that the mileage is true. I have only driven this bike 63 miles since I purchased it in May 2008 at which time I installed new matching Bridgestone Accolate tires and a new high-capacity Motobatt battery. This model was only available in 1989 and 1990 and sold in small numbers. Very collectable and a good investment. This bike is a driver, not a museum piece. It wears its age well but shows some minor pitting/oxidization of chrome and aluminum finishes which I would rate as 95%. It is missing the plastic cover for the under-saddle tool box and the tool kit. No dents or dings. New custom made steel rear saddle faring painted to match factory color. Headers discolored with somer denting under collector pan which I would rate at 50%. Purchase will include an extra header/collector unit which I would rate at 85% undamaged condition; original plastic faring cover which has been functionally repaired and is usable; an extra front fender in excellent condition; an owners manual; and, a shop manual. Clear NC title in seller's name. Bike is located in Washington NC 27889 - about one hour east of the I-95 Rocky Mount exit.
