This Ranger has an automatic transmission that blew. I believe it is the main seal that went, but I am unsure. The engine cranks right up and runs great! Has A/C and blows cold for a while until it leaks out of system. I just replaced the alternator and battery 3 weeks ago! In the past 2 years the entire brake system has been replaced including the master cylinder, but not the lines. In the past 5 years I have replaced the shocks n struts, fuel pump, exhaust, all the 4WD hubs have been rebuilt, and starter. This would be a great project vehicle for someone, and with a little work would be a great vehicle. The valve cover gaskets leak oil as well. I usually put about a quart of oil in the system over 3,000 miles if that is an indicator of how bad it is. The bed will probably need to be replaced at some point in time, but is ok to run now without replacing. This was my stepsons truck and I do not have the time to fix the transmission in it so I gave him my car. Good luck bidding. This will need to be towed from my location or picked up, I will not deliver. I will be happy if I get the 250.00 I put into it two weeks ago! The tires are also fairly new I replaced them within the past year, and the 4WD works great as well.
