I have for sale a 1985 chevy monte carlo SS floor shift car I got this car on a trade with plans on redoing the car completely . four months later someone attempted to steal the car but was unsucceful in doing so ,but destroy the steering column since then it has been place in storage waiting its turn to go to the body shop. Unfortunley I just move out of state and the car is still in Atlanta I do not want to waste money on a car that just sitting. I have other project that I also have in storage that more of a priority then my monte carlo so I chose to sell it for a pretty good price , The car is all original beside the paint it has been painting before and its a terrible purple paint job quailty poor!! It has the H.O 305 with the 200R4 transmission with the 3:73 gears in the rear end . I sold the hood to replace it with a 2''cowl hood which I recieve damage and had to send back so it has no hood.The motor has been mess with vaccum lines are mission and AC does not work . The interior is not in great condition I already sold the center console , it has gray cloth bucket seat , the dash does need a dash cap for it is crack in several places which is normal for a car this old. the driver seat has a rip in it and the head liner has been replace already . The car does run but will need to be towed because of the column being broken . I have extra for the car a throttle body with intake computer and a uncut harness. I have a 13 feet battery cable to relocated the battery in the rear, I have a steering box with a different ratio to improve handling . I had some great plans for this vehicle but i just wont be able to get to it in time . All the information I am giving you on the car is true it has been inspected by a cerfited ASE Tech before I did the trade I need to know if it was a real SS. It could be a great daily driver with a little work or a nice street or show car with the time and money invested .
