Vehicle Detail
Rare 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom convertible up for auction. NO RESERVE, bid early and often, top bidder gets her! Highly desirable 7.5-litre V8 (455 CID) with a four barrel carburetor, 90k. New coil springs all around, she sits nice on the road. We had the braking system done last fall, including master cylinder, new brake lines, rear wheel cylinders and front brake pads, she stops easily now, good for such a big car! New fuel lines done at the same time. Convertible top replaced in 2005, top goes down easily with the push of a button, needs some help going up. Power windows work, rear windows need help going up. Interior in good shape overall, seats and door panels nice with one small sun crack in the center of the dash. The LeSabre could use new paint, bubbling/fading in spots and the bumpers could use rechroming. Floors and frame very solid. Original AM/FM radio included, aftermarket cassette player in dash now, nothing cut. LeSabre is equipped with a/c, no belt on compressor but turns freely. Cruise control works. Nice candidate for restoration or drive as is, I always get smiles and "thumbs up" when I take her out. The 75 LeSabre Convertible is rare, this is from Wikipedia: 1975 would be the final year for the LeSabre Custom Convertible as just over 5300 examples rolling off the assembly lines. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong (455 V8 moves this big girl nicely, really takes off when you hit the gas!), tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading. She starts on the first try even in cold weather, idles perfectly (rebuilt carb), stops easily, shifts smoothly, handles well for such a big car and the suspension is luxurious. Drives overall like a big American classic convertible should. VIN is 4P67T5Y104283. Original Buick hubcaps and wheels in good condition with almost new tires back on car now. Will include American Racing wheels with Cooper tires for an additional $900. Nice classic Buick which will only appreciate in value! Good luck bidding!
