This is an auction for a beautifully restored 1972 Honda CB500 with 29400 Original miles. Look at the pictures. Check the detail in the pictures; they really illustrate the quality and condition of this bike. The engine is very smooth and powers through all of its gears. Everything works. These bikes are fast becoming the choice for collectors and enthusiasts. The bike was taken down completely, and many parts were polished, painted, re-chromed and repaired or replaced. The Exhaust is new. The Blinkers and Stems are new. Taillight is new. Mirrors are new. There is some Minor Pitting in the, rims, spokes, Fenders and Shocks, but they are polished nicely, and look very good. The Front Fender has a small dent and scratch. The pitting is difficult to see unless you are 6 inches from the part. Front & Rear Tires are new (photos Show the old Tires). It Does have a small oil leak, just seeps around the head and or valve cover out a little after its been ridden for a while, does not drip onto floor. The Mileage is high, but my guess is that it’s been rebuilt before I bought it as it does not smoke or use oil, or the speedometer has been changed as it runs extremely well, with excellent power. The new Paint job is Urethane and the color is Candy Jade Green. Silver base with Lime Gold Candy Mid Coat, then 6 coats clear. Including the Primer there are 18 Coats total on the Bike. The Bike is not perfect but its 90% perfect. The Bike is in Demopolis, Alabama 36732. You arrange pick-up by your freight company, we will load with a forklift. I also would be willing to meet or deliver the bike within a reasonable distance, call me to discuss the charge and distance. Upon end of the Auction a 500.00 deposit will be required. Full payment would be due prior to shipping.
