1974 Honda CR

CR250M-1009179

The frame # is CR250M-1009179 and the engine # is CR250ME 1009641. I bought this several years ago and road it once two years ago. I start it every year and just had it running today. Runs great and does not miss any gears. The previous owner said he had a Honda mechanic go through the motor & tranny, the way it runs I would say so but I am not a mechanic so I cannot tell you any more about it. Probably will need the carb cleaned, it's been sitting a while but did start and sounded good. Tires were new untill I road it about 10 miles. Tank has the usual dings. Pipe is nice with a dent on the bottom side. Paint is perfect. Seat is perfect. I don't believe the carb setup is original but I do have the original intake. Would make an easy restoration. Chain & sprockets look very good, no sharp teeth. No title. I have many pictures so if you want to see more just email me. I am by no means an expert on these bike but I will answer what I can. (Sorry Not Pictured) (2) All plastic has been repainted original silver & mat green with new decals. (3) Air cleaner element was new when I purchased the bike. Driven about 10 miles (4) Rims have scratches but I see NO cracks. (5) Has new seat cover and pan is very nice for 38 years old. (6) New NOS rear brake cable. (7) Tank has dings but no creases. (8) Kick starter is original with minimal play, stays in closed position. (9) Lt crankcase cover is not broken (10) Lower front shocks have pitting but the uppers are in great shape, no pitting. (11) Rear shocks do not leak.
