This is a 1967 VW beetle that is all original and starts and runs first turn of the key. I recently replaced all the brakes plus front bearings and master cylinder. The plugs were changed and other items repaired at a reputable VW shop in Gainsville. New brake switch, new gas filter(gas tank cleaned), new brake switch, new master cylinder, oil change. I have receipts for this work. The mechanic told me the car's engine sounds as it should and that the clutch shifts well. I start and drive my VW in my neighborhood. The glass has no cracks and the car is drivable as is. The floor pans are solid. The front beam of the car has some rust and I recently searched and purchased a non-rusty front beam that goes with the car. The bumpers are all original and I have some extra parts that go with the car. The 1967 is the first year that VW changed to a 12 Volt system with alternator. I have been told that 1967 is one of the most desireable years for the beetle. The interior needs work and all the parts can be purchased on the internet and various catalogs are available.
