Vehicle Detail

This is my 1957 Chevrolet 210/ 2door sedan that I recieved in a trade a while back. It is a really nice driver and I have put around 450 miles on it since I got the car. Problem is that I have too many vehicles and I would like to sell this one. The car appears to have been built a few years back and all the body panels where new or solid as I can find no rust or bondo. The underside has a repair under the drivers side floor and seems very solid. The inner rocker panels hae some rust but the outer panels are new. Some of the floor braces have some rust (4) also.Other than that the underside all looks solid. I did some checking through Shermans Auto Body Parts and all new needed parts would run $285.00 plus shipping. I would say the job would require 5-6 hours by any competent welder. The trunk pan looks all solid with no rust.not even in the rear tire area. The millage listed is what I believe was put on the car since it was done. The actual milage is unknown. I was told the motor was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. It is a 4 bolt main 350 .010 over which I believe would make it a 355. It runs great and carries good oil pressure with no noticable blow-by. The battery looks to be fairly new and the transmission works great. Shifts well, no slip, and no leaks. Mechanically seems to be excellant. there is no power steering, however the car steers easily and has no loose play or slop. Looking under at the front end theparts appear to be fairly new and have been kept well lubricated. No power brakes but the brakes stop just fine. I have checked on converting the steering and brakes into power and found 650.00 for everything to convert to power steering including belts and pulley. For power brakes it was 315.00 for everything if you retained drum brakes. This price does not include new brake lines (165.00) complete pre formed front and rear. It is about 250.00 more to convert to front disc brakes. These aren't things that are needed but could be added to the car if desired. The paint on the car is in very nice condition with only a few small chips, its done in what I would call Root Beer. It appears burgandy or black depending on the light. It has gold flames on the side. The chrome and stainless trim is all there and in nice shape although it is not new. The interior has new door panels although they are not stock, they are buttoned tufted and in very nice shape. The seats are black and rolled upholstery. There is a seam tear in the drivers bottom which I hope to get repaired. I have tried to be as honest as possible and I personally would drive this car across country as it sits now. You can check my feedback if you wish. There is no warranty implied. Shipping or pickup is the buyers responsibility although I will help with whatever I can including picking up someone at Detroit or Flint, MI if you wish to drive it back. Car if for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel auction early. A deposit of $500.00 is due through Pay Pal within 24 hours, balance within 7 days. Any questions please call 810 364-7829 or 810 874-1823. Anyone with less than 10 feedbacks call before bidding, and please have money before bidding I have had bad experiences before. Thank you for looking.
