2001 Ford Ranger This is a One Owner 2001 Ford Ranger. It has a clear title, never been in an accident. It has only 131 k original miles. I am an auto dealer; sometimes we get trade ins or private party vehicles which require some fixing. We do not sell them on our lot, so we offer them for no reserve sale on eBay for someone to fix up and save money. I got the Ranger from the original owner, since it is in good condition (other than the engine). The engine has a noise; according to our mechanic it needs to be replaced. The shop also found a 3.0l engine to put in for about $200, not too far from Fergus. The Book value for this is around $4000, they sell around $3500 range because the 3.0l engine gets better gas mileage (and this is low mileage, one owner vehicle). If you can put the new engine in by yourself, you can save a lot of money. I can also ask our mechanic to do the engine swap for you, if you need, which would cost you around $500 for labor. If you have the time and space, you can make some good money out of fixing this, or fix and drive yourself for a fraction of the price of a similar vehicle. I can help with arranging shipping for the truck, but ultimately it is up to the buyer. If you are far away from MN, it is very important to consider the shipping cost before you bid. We do our best for genuine buyers, but are very strict on non-paying bidders. If you live around 100 miles from Fergus, we can arrange towing through our company vehicle for $1.25 per loaded mile. This is a No Reserve Auction, Absolute Sale: The highest bidder will win the truck. The exterior of the truck is in good shape, no scratches. The paint is very nice condition. There is a few spots where rust is coming (average for MN trucks). The topper is very nice also. I have an extra set of tires that I will include with the truck also. The tires on it are ok, the extra set has a little better tread on them. The interior is nice without burns and no stains on the seats. There is a section of the driver's seat where it is worn down and cracked a bit from use. You can see part of it in the pictures. Overall, a decent truck that is worth fixing up if you have the time. It would also make a great parts truck if you have one like it -all panels are in good shape. Terms: This truck is being sold as is, for repair or parts. The engine needs to be replaced. Therefore this truck is being sold AS IS, with no warranty and will need to be towed away.
