My 1974 tii. This car was a barn find from Santa Fe NM. Its been a family driving restoration project for the last 8 years or so. Always garaged since I've owned it - never outside in bad weather. When I lived in Colorado, it was my fair weather daily driver. In Chicago, I take the train every day and the car is only driven on rare occasions. Love the car, but no longer have the time or the space to keep it. Odometer says 21,800 - was broken when I got it (now fixed) so "mileage unknown". In the last 10 years that its been in my family, we've put less than 2K on the car. Exterior: Sunroof car. The car is solid everywhere that is important. It was repainted about 8 years ago. There are small dings and scratches from being in the garage. (kids opening doors into it) The sunroof has some scratches. There is some light damage in the driver side front fender. (see pictures) There is rust on the rockers, and rust in the spare tire well. Engine and Trans: Fuel injection was rebuilt a couple of year ago and the car runs great. Starts up right away whenever I ask it to and runs strong. No mechanical issues, no smoke, great runner. The transmission is also in great shape - smooth and positive. The issues: 1.) The heater core leaks - needs to be replaced, and 2.) there is an exhaust hanger currently missing so the exhaust rattles a bit. Suspension/Steering/Tires: Brand new Bilstiens and H&R springs installed less than 1K miles ago. Car also has new Yoko avs es100's - so its good to go in this department. Interior: Has been re-done in "driver restoration" mode. The seats and door panels have been recovered - door panels in a non-original style. The headliner is brand new along with the carpet. The dash has been overlaid with a new cover and looks great. All the door/window and trunk seal rubber has been replaced.
