Offered for sale is a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. The floors and areas under the doors have mostly rotted away and the underside and chassis have fairly substantial rust. It is mostly complete. The car was originally white with red interior. I have a Heritage Trust report for the car. This car has a bootlid, which is very unusual on Bugeyes, as they did not ever have one. This bootlid is NOT a “norcal” kit. A “norcal” kit is a kit that a company was making in the 60’s for an aftermarket trunk for people to have installed in their Bugeyes. I have photo evidence that this car is NOT the “norcal” kit. I am selling the car because I do not have the time to restore or the space to store it, although I wish very badly that I could.
