Vehicle Detail

1969 Ford Mustang Coupe You are bidding on a good drivable project Mustang. This car is the prefect father son car you can drive, enjoy and work on the weekends with. The nice thing about these Pony cars is everything is available for them and at very reasonable prices. They are the perfect first time restoration car for someone as you will not have to get a second job to afford to build one of these. For us blue collar working guys, that’s the kind of car we all need. This Mustang Coupe is being offered at NO RESERVE, bid to own! The engine is the original 6-cyl. She starts right up and runs good. The automatic transmission shifts nicely. She has manual steering and manual brakes. The suspension sits nice and this Mustang goes down the road well. I was impressed how nice this car drove and can see someone using this everyday. The interior is in very nice condition. The seats are in great shape. The carpet is super nice. The door panels appear to be well preserved original. The headliner is in great shape. The dash pad is cracked. There is a vintage AM/FM/8-Track in place of the original radio. The steering wheel has the usual cracks. The seat belts are the original date coded ones. Overall the interior has a real decent appearance and doesn’t need much except for a new dash pad, and maybe a cool wood steering wheel. The body looks good from about 50 feet but as you get closed its apparent it will need some work. She has the typical rust these cars get. The quarters have some rust on the lower parts and the wheel arches. The doors have rust on the forward and rear edges. The fenders also have some rust on the lower rear. There is a pair of used fenders that are included in the sale. The front frame rails will need repair as they have the usual rot. The front driver and passenger floor has some rust, the rest of the floor appears to be solid. The rear frame rails are super solid and in great shape. The hood scoop gives this car a sweet muscle appearance and even the rear turn signal indicators work! Obviously, the car is in primer so it will need to be painted after the bodywork is done. I think this would be an awesome base to turn into a killer Pro-Touring Mustang Coupe. Graft in a custom front subframe with tubular control arms, coilover suspension, huge disc brakes front and rear etc. 18” GT-40 Eleanor wheels front and rear with fat tires for that vintage but modern muscle style. Pop in a sweet built fuel injected small block with an overdrive transmission and now we’re talking. Finish it off with some smooth body mods and a killer metallic bronze paint job. At least, that would be my idea with it. You can also go back to original and preserve this car for generations to come. Pass it down through the family and enjoy this car for many years. The choice is yours. Remember this is being offered at a very reasonable NO RESERVE price – BID TO OWN! You know you want it, just go for it. DON’T PASS THIS ONE BY!
