I am helping an older neighbor sell his large collection of classic cars. I will do the best I can to list them as accurately as possible. 1960 Ford Sunliner Convertible He has owned this car since I was a little kid (I'm 46 now). I remember it being in the driveway as a teenager, but at some point it ended up in the storage building in the space you see it now. These are the best pictures that I could get of it. It took me and a friend 2 hours just to un-bury it to the point you see it. The car has all the parts to the best of my knowledge. The front end parts are in the back seat and trunk, and the fenders are very nice and straight and I think rust-free. The rest of the body has had rust at one point, the rear quarters especially. You can see the fiberglas filler in the pics. The motor is a 292. The transmission is automatic. I am pretty sure the original steering wheel is in the back seat. In my opinion, it is between a #5 and a #6. It's priced accordingly. A number #6 books out at $1500, and a #5 books out at $4440. I did some research on the car, and it seems some of the specific parts are pretty valuable. It appears some of those are there for sure. This is the only 1960 Sunliner that I have. If you win the auction, please give us about a week to get it in position for pick up. We need to move several cars and quite a bit of parts to get it to the door, and it's going to take a while. I will ship internationally, and I can help with shipping in the lower 48 states as well.
