However, at this point I would prefer an automatic transmission over the 5-speed, so just purchased a 2010 Mustang GT convertible. Since I typically find a much better deal purchasing a new vehicle outright, and sell the old vehicle, we effectively knock out the middle-man between the vehicle YOU want to purchase and I need to sell . . . making a better deal for both of us without making the middle-man rich at our expense. This Mustang GT has been pretty trouble-free. Other than routine maintenance (which I perform myself), the only other things I recall replacing were: new battery in 2009 tune-up (coil, spark plugs, filters) in 2010 front wheel bearings, front caliper & brake pads in 2011 There are NO check engine lights or any other items that need to be fixed . . . this is "ready to go" As with any used vehicle, it is 10 years old and not new anymore, so you can expect some signs of normal usage. You will find that this Mustang GT is clean and as-described in the description and photos, so there will be no surprizes. I took photos to show how nice it cleans up, as well as how well water beads when wet. The only thing this Mustang GT needs is a new home. The most notable flaws from previous owner are shown in the photos: 1 small ding on left-rear fender, minor paint peel on plastic front bumper, misc touched-up scratches, 3 small cuts on outer top, 1 small hole in headliner, 1 scuff/burn in rear seatback, drivers seatback, and chrome rims. Although both are still fine now, I would suggest replacing the tires next year . . . POWERTRAIN 4.6 liter high-output V-8 -- very peppy engine w/ good torque/power 5-speed manual transmission Ford put a tight clutch in these to prevent riding-the-clutch I average 21 mpg in my normal driving EXTERIOR Black Fog Lamps Remote-controlled Keyless Entry, Trunk Release, & Alarm System Intermittent Wipers Rear Window Defroster Velocity Chrome Wheels INTERIOR Black Leather Seats -- power driver seat adjustment & lumbar support Dual Air Bags Power Door Locks Power Windows Power Convertible Top Cruise Control COLD air and great heat Jensen VM8113 AM/FM/CD/DVD Stereo w/ Remote Control plays CD's also plays VIDEO DVD's!!! line-in jack allows phone/MP3 player audio input USB jack allows memory stick or iPod audio input optional Jensen jLink cable allows iPod audio/video input A $500 non-refundable deposit is to be made within 72 hours (3 days) of auction end, and can be done via PayPal (unless other arrangements are made). Arrangements should be made to pick up vehicle within ~10 days of auction end (as I don't want this transaction dragging out, and would like to transfer the full-coverage insurance/plates to my new car). So that my bank can release the title immediately upon your payment/purchase (and to avoid a fraudulent check or money order), CASH (or loan check drawable on LOCAL Indy bank) is required.
