The earliest records on the car are from 1961 when a new car dealer in Ohio sold it to a woman for $2,050.00. (I have a copy of the title) Titles did not require odometer statements back then. A window sticker, which is still on the car, shows next inspection due in 1960. She last licensed it in 1965. A door oil sticker shows 6,700 miles. It is believed to have set in her garage until 2001 when a collector, bought it for $6,500 (recorded on the title copy that I have). His title states 7,741 actual miles. He kept it in storage until 2008 during which time it was not started or driven. In 2008 it was sold to an enthusiasts, reportedly for $15,000. He took it to a mechanic to get it road worthy. The engine was dismantled, some repairs made, with all new gaskets etc. The gas tank cleaned and lined and the sending unit replaced. A new fuel pump, water pump, belts and new hoses. (no A/C belt) New brake cylinders and a new dual exhaust along with new radial tires. It is believed to have cost over $3,000. He never titled the car in his name. His wife wanted it out of their only garage so I obliged her. The title states 7813 actual miles. The odometer now shows 7838 miles. The car runs and drives very well- like a Cadillac should. All lights and guages work. Wipers are too weak to complete rotation on their own. Although radio worked last year, I got nothing from it today. Will check it out later. The interior is very nice other than the driver side carpet is faded. The pictures don't show the actual color of the carpet. It is a blue/silver/gray pile. Not real pretty but much better than in the pictures. The paint has thin spots and chips. The chips are mostly on passenger door. I considered having it painted but decided to leave it as original as possible for now. Stainless is beautiful. Most of the chrome is nice, but there are some pieces with pitting. The top of the right front bumper and vent window posts show pitting and a few other pieces. I was given what was supposed to be the original tires for the car but I disposed of them as they were weather cracked. The above is partly backed by documentation and partly by word of mouth. I am selling it as is where is with no guarantees to condition or accuracy of history or mileage. I will do what I can to assist in having the car shipped.
