We are proud to present this 1995 Impala SS. This car is incredibly unique. In 1995, 21,434 Impala SS models were built. Of those, only 7,134 were Dark Cherry Metallic, which makes this car one of about 7,000! The Impala SS was first introduced in 1994 as a performance modified version of the Chevy Caprice Classic. It included the legendary LT1 5.7L V8 from the Corvette. It was rated at 260 horsepower, with an incredible 330 pound-feet of torque! Motor Trend magazine listed the 0-60 time as 7 seconds and the quarter-mile as 15.4 seconds at 91.4 mph. CarFax certifies this car as a one-owner vehicle! The included paperwork from the original owner indicates that this car likely was owned by the original dealer, Midway Chevrolet Oldsmobile of Plainwell, MI and then sold in 1997 with 10,851 miles. The car was purchased at an auto auction in Michigan back in September of 2010 by a dealer in Erie, PA. It was then purchased by Colussy Chevrolet at an auction in April. The Vehicle: This is an incredibly beautiful car. The Dark Cherry Metallic paint is nicely coordinated with the Gray leather interior. It has all the standard SS features including leather 45/45 seats with a floor console, leather wrapped steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, dual air bags, 17" aluminum wheels with P255/50ZR-17 performance tires, limited-slip rear differential, , air conditioning, rear decklid spoiler, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, cruise control, tilt wheel and much more. In addition, it is equipped with the SS Preferred Equipment Group 1, which included a power passenger seat, keyless entry with trunk release, twilight sentinel automatic headlamps, power antenna, day/night rearview mirror and heated outside mirrors and rear defogger. It also upgrades the radio to a CD player. Total MSRP on this car back in 1995 when it was new was $24,840! The grille bowtie, decklid Impala emblem and both rear quarter Impala emblems have been gold-electroplated.
