RELISTED May 11 2011 I think this car didn't meet reserve last time around because I did not include enough pictures to truly represent the quality condition of this 2 door, full size, 32 year old rear wheel drive, rust free, drive it anywhere classic car. I had the reserve at $4500.00 last time and the bidding died at $3500.00. I need to sell this car. Please call me if you have any questions prior to bidding. You could make a 1/4 mile drag car, a great cruise nite car, or a lowrider, a low maintenance daily driver or whatever out of this car. Up for bid is a low mileage, rust free, unmolested 1979 Chevy Caprice 2 door Landau Aero Coupe with the "NASCAR" rear window. They made these from 1977 to 1979..not all had the AERO COUPE rear window. THIS IS A RARE CAR! I bought it off the grandson of the original owner, so I believe it has had only three owners...the original owner, her grandson (after she passed) then me a couple of years ago. It runs great...starts right up and drives great! No leaks. No smoke. You could drive this anywhere. 305 V8 with the original two barrel carb,automatic trans, tires are good to great. The top is awesome, the interior is nice. The headliner was shot. I removed the sagging headliner, cleaned the backerboard and bought new foam backed headliner material and a can of 3M adhesive...these go with the car. Recently installed new plugs, air filter, oil, oil filter, transmission shift modulator, muffler, tailpipe...she's ready to go! The reserve is set where I think a V8 rear wheel drive low mileage full size TWO door COUPE with documentable pedigree ( purchesed new in Pottstown PA now resides in Mohrsville PA) should command in today's market. Please don't bid if you are not serious. I have a 100% positive rating on eBay and I intend to keep it. Non Paying "winning" bidders will be flagged on eBay (or worse).
