Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer Edition with the 5.8 liter V8. I beleive I am the third owner of this beautiful Bronco. Never checked the story but believed the old timer I bought it from. The Truck is a Rust Survivor spending most of its life in South Carolina. I bought 3 years ago from the second owner who bought it from his boss which was the first. I've only put a few thousand miles on it last few years, only used here and there and when the weather was bad her in Pa. The four wheel drive works amazing Push button, This truck will make it through anything. The Body is Rust Free and still shines nice. Get many compliments on the truck. I will try to describe as best as I can. I know most are interested in the bad and will list that at the end. It does have high mileage but you wouldn't know it, engine still strong and drives great. AC Blows Ice Cold, Power Everything. As you can see from the pics, the outside is beautiful especially for the age. it has a blemish under the driver sideview mirror where the guy had one of the magnet cancer ribbons. It left a stain on the paint. Got some of it off but probably needs to be buffed out. Also a black line, looks like permanet marker across gas cap door(see pic) Those are the most notable imperfections in the paint. I know I will forget something so Please ask as many questions as you need. Ok for the bad, This Truck really is Great but does have some small issues. I want to be completely honest and will describe the best I can. Biggest issue. I was told by my mechanic about a year or so ago that the rear main seal had a slight leak and by slight I mean it might drip a drop or two here and there. Where I have it parked for the last few years, there is about a 12inch circle under it. He told me it would cost a few hundred bucks to fix but unless it gets worse it will not effect anything so I never had it done. It does not burn oil and don't ever have to add any between oil changes. Second thing is the rear window stopped working last winter. I was unloading groceries while it was snowing then the next time went to use it, it didn't work. Might be easy fix. Don't know, I am not mechanically inclined, other than oil changes and wiper blades. Also the thermometer/direction indicator on the ceiling stopped working last year also. Other than that all power functions work fine. Lastly the driver side seat is ripped pretty bad, have a seat cover on it now, could use a better seat cover. Also has a dent in the front driver side by the bumper(see pic) Interior isn't to bad of shape, Needs a good cleaning. In the bed, the carpet has stains on the carpet. I beleive I've covered everything. Thanks For looking I checked the carfax report and saw I was wrong about the origin, It was North Carolina and not South as I thought. 5/11/10
