Vehicle Detail
Please read EVERYTHING prior to asking questions that ARE in the auctions description! This Auction is for a 1980 Maserati Quattroporte III 8 Cylinder Luxury Sedan. This car is quite a collector vehicle as they were never really massed produced. The car in its time was the most luxurious rides you could poses. These cars were owned by the rich and famous. The leather was supple, the engine majorly powerful. It had all the comfort feature like power windows, power door locks, 6 way power seats, wood dash, and enough room to live in. This vehicle does need restored. It's not real pretty right now, but with some TLC this car can be back to the country clubs, or nights out on the town impressing the ladies. I don't think it would take much as the car has no damage to the body, and the engine purrs like a kitten. It only has 47,000 original miles. This car was owned by a famous football player, and was not driven much. It was garaged at the time of purchase. He then divorced, and his wife ended up with the car. She did not drive it, but left it parked in the garage. I guess she wanted to get back at him :-). It does need a battery, and some gas in the tank, but otherwise it should head down the road. The tires are needing replaced, and again you need to put some time and care into bringing back to its hay day. I can tell you that this car is still worth a good amount of money as it is now, and even more money when fixed up real pretty. This is your chance to own your own Maserati. The pictures are as it is now, and the video is of the car running (currently). This is my brothers car, and I am helping him sell it. The car has the 4.9 liter model with (4) huge carbs (I beleive Weber carbs), but as of right now, I am not positive. He received the car from the lady that took it in the divorce as payment for work done on her house. I will try and answer all questions you might have. I don't know too much about the car otherwise, but if you look on the net and do a little searching, you will find loads of information. Just type 1980 Maserati Quattroporte into the google or yahoo seach bar and walla, tons of amazing info. You are welcome to see the car in person by appointment in Corona CA. Shipping is your deal. I will allow for anyone and or any transportation carrier to pick up the vehicle ONLY after the car is paid in full. No trades. No Negative Feedback Bidders. The car comes as is. Your responsible for checking out the vehicle. You are welcome to e-mail with questions. Make offers, but serious offers only. Don't send something ridiculous Remember the pictures are of the car sitting for many years. Please remember what a couple cans of engine cleaner, leather cleaner, wax, glass cleaner, spark plugs, and a weekend of good old TLC will get you. If the car doesn't sell, I will do all the detailing myself and raise the price in the next auction. I have had 2 offers already of $3000.00 for the car, but to be fair on the auction, I said you have to bid and see if you win. If the offer is more near the buy it now range, then I might just pull the auction. I have had way to many intertested parties all ready. I think this is going to sell the first time. You might want to guarantee you get the car and just take the buy it now option...
