No Reserve!!! 1963 Falcon Futura Convertible Data Plate Information: Body: 76B = Falcon Convertible with Bucket Seats Color: J = Rangoon Red Trim: 86A = Black Vinyl Date: 18C = March 18, 1963 Axle: 5 = 3.50:1 Trans: 5 = 4 Speed Manual This is a rare 63 Falcon convertible. Original Rangoon Red with black bucket seats and a 4 speed. Only thing better would have been the Sprint V8 package. This is the only year the convertible was offered in this body style. We’ve enjoyed this car for about six year. Unfortunately, its time to sell – wife got a Boxster instead. I guess that gives me more time to work on my Torino GT. It’s a blast to cruise in especially with the 6 cyl and 4 speed trans. Makes for some really nice driving. The RetroSound radio with 4 speakers puts out some nice tunes as well. It rides really nice and gets attention wherever we go in it. It has been well cared for over the years with over $6k spent fixing, restoring, and upgrading by me or the prior owner. Items include: Body & Interior • Convertible Top • Top Boot • Trunk Mat • Seat Upholstery • Seat Backs • Front Seat Foams • Interior Door Panels • Misc Trim Pieces • Locking Glove Box • Seals • Window Felt • Carpet • Dash Pad – Still need lower stainless steel trim installed (lost some of the clips) • Front & Rear Seat Belts • Wire Wheel Hubcaps Electronics • RetroSound Audio AM/FM/AUX/USB • Dual Front Speakers - Dash Mounted under Grill • 2nd Pair of Speakers in Kick Panels • Alpine Kelyless Entry/Alarm Mechanical / Drivetrain / Suspension • SSBC Front Disc Brakes • PS Pump, Control Valve & Idler Arm • Alignment • Rear Leaf Springs – 5 Leaf • Clutch, Pressure Plate, TO Bearing • Shifter Mechanism • Trans Seals - Side Gasket has slight leak • Remanufactured Distributor • Fuel Pump • Fuel Sender Recent Tune-up and many other upgrades done. Overall condition is good. Rides and drives nice. The paint is excellent for a daily driver. I think the paint job is about 8 years old and is starting to show some age. It is not show car perfect with a few chips and blemishes but still better than most cars. I tried to show some of the belms in the photos like the right rear above the taillight where I accidentally closed the garage door on the car. Oops! The chrome is okay with some minor pitting. It could use some underhood detailing to make it look great. Power top, lights, wipers, etc… work. It definitely makes for a nice cruiser. This is a no reserve auction. Car must go to make room for other projects. This car will go to the winning bidder. Car is sold "AS IS" with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up. Will assist buyer in shipping with your shipping company. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and full payment within 7 days. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Note: The rust spots on the driveway in a few of the photos are not from this car.
