For sale is an all original 1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC coupe with 135,000 original miles. Runs and drives Excellent. Great example of this model. ENGINE The engine is the 4.5 liter (SOHC) 8 cylinder. The engine runs excellent. The car has been recently tuned up with new spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter. TRANSMISSION It has the original automatic transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. INTERIOR It has the original leather interior with no cuts or tears in the seats. They are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled and the headliner is in great condition. The dash is in very good condition (see below). PAINT AND BODY The body is in exceptional shape with the paint in excellent condition. It has no dents, dings or scrapes. With no rust or bondo on the body. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory wheels with very good tires. They have about 75% tread left on them. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has a A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The power sunroof works. It has aftermarket CD player. The radio tuner on the stereo works properly so does the CD player. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear.
