This is a 1968 R60US BMW in original unrestored condition with excellent original paint job and pin striping. It comes with both the European style handlebars (installed) as well as the original US style bars. It has matching numbers on motor and frame. It runs beautifully (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knD1BpvLOu8). Starts on second or third kick and is tuned and ready to ride. It has the stylish Denfeld solo seat and rear rack, plus an extra rack for your picnic basket! It even has the optional Hella bar end turn signals. Since this is the US version, the bike has the better handling (and rarer) telescopic forks as well as a speedometer in MPH. There are approximately 18,400 miles on the speedometer. There is a dent in the lower top corner of the tank (see picture) and the paint is touched up around the battery. Tires are in good condition and it has a brand new maintenance free gel battery. This is my weekend rider and I love this bike, but need to let some things go to pay the bills. Please ask questions before bidding.
