I'm listing this restored 1956 Triumph Roadster ConvertibleTR3 for a friend. They said to to put it as a NO RESERVE AUCTION so high bidder will own the car. Pretty Yellow Trimuph with classy rims & wheel covers.. The Triumph was rebuilt with the frame off and all new floor pans and quarter panels refinished and reassembled. It is a very neat looking car. I dont know anything about Triumphs and will do my best to describe the car. The motor was completely rebuilt with only a few hundred miles driven since rebuild. Transmission was also rebuilt as well as the carbs. The interior was redone but could use a little touch up I see with a couple pieces that would just need re-glued. I have no way to verify if the odometer miles are correct so for the sake if it we will say they are not.. The hardware frame is there for the convertible top but there is no top on the hardware so you will need to finish that with a top. There are two side curtains that come with the car and they are in need of refinishing. Please feel free to come look or take it for a drive. The vehicle is located in Waterloo, Iowa. They wanted to let me know that the lites on the rear valance panel may be from a different year and also the hood lock handles are a preference John added. John had several TR3's and as you can see from his restoration he was very good at what he did. So you are just seeing a couple little things that probably appealed to him thats why they might be different. The car is super awesome and a grerat looking car. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one thats for sure/ The title says it is a 56 Triump and the title is a clear Iowa title in hand. The vin on the title is IA039124. I'm not sure if John might have lost the title and got a replacement or maybe because of the full restoration he got a new title.
