Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an excellent, clean, head-turning K5 Blazer (technically a V10, but whatever). This truck runs flawlessly, has 161,000 miles, but the previous owner had a NEW GM Goodwrench engine installed at about 104K for unknown reasons. The engine still holds 45+ pounds oil pressure at hot idle. Either way, runs strong, no smoke or oil usage and absolutely no leaks ANYWHERE (not engine, not transmission, not power steering...nothing). Trans is the 700R4 (or 4L60), Tcase is the NP241, and front and rear axles are 3.73 geared 10 bolts with a limited slip in the rear. It's currently running 31x10.50R15 BFG All-Terrains, but they're getting somewhat worn so new tires may be in your future. I just finished a plug/wire/cap/rotor/filter tune up as well. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere, at any time. Truck has all power options except mirrors, both door and tailgate glass roll up and down well. Air, tilt, cruise, Pioneer double DIN CD player. It is also equipped with a Python alarm system with interior motion sensor and remote door locks which are wired and in and work fine. The interior is in EXCELLENT shape; the carpet is barely worn under the driver's right foot (gas pedal), but is otherwise intact, clean and not rotting/wearing in any way. The front compartment headliner is fully intact and not sagging-the dash does have a few cracks but there's a dash cover on there so they're not readily visible. I need 2 chrome pieces for the door pulls as well, but that's minor. Truck has not been smoked in, nor are there any rips/tears/wear on the seats at all. The lights on the passenger vanity mirror even work! There are a few flaws, however. The windshield got cracked over the winter and will need replaced. There is a rust spot behind the driver's side wheel well that's about the size of a softball, but other than that there is ZERO rust on or under the truck. There is also a dent/scratch in the driver's door which continues for a few inches right behind the driver's wheel well as well. Don't know what happened there as it was in that condition when I purchased it. The hood also shows signs of light hail damage, but it is pretty hard to see. Other than those issues, the paint still shines like new, there is no clearcoat peeling and the body is very straight with all bodylines intact. I just passed Colorado smog about 2 weeks ago no problem, and I have ALL the maintenance and service records done by Century Chevrolet here in the Denver Metro including the engine replacement. The previous owner took very meticulous care of this vehicle and it shows. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need further information or would like more pictures. If you're at all familiar with K5 Blazers, you'll know this one is mint and worth every penny. Enjoy and good luck!
