I am upgrading to a newer Mercedes model and this is why I am selling this Benz on EBay. You are looking at 1999 Mercedes Benz S420 long WB flagship sedan. This very well designed vehicle has only 49K original miles. The W140 has secured a place as one of the most well-remembered luxury vehicles–described by some as a classic. It was a last year production for the W140 model. Take a look on the listed pictures. You could be a proud owner of this Benz. The original sale price for this Benz was 78K. I included a picture with the original sticker indicating all the options and the priginal price. This vehicle is fully loaded. It has 4.2 liter DOHC 32 valve V8 engine and five-speed electronically controlled automatic tranny, parameter speed sensitive power steering, automatic climate control, automatic slip control (ASR), Bose beta premium high end sound system with 12 speakers and CD changer, telescopic/tilt steering column, electro pneumatic door and trunk closing, 12- way power front heated seats with 3 setting memory functions and pneumatic lumbar support, Double-paned soundproofed glass, driver/passenger and side airbags, cruise control, nice and very clean black leather interior with burl walnut trim, Rear passenger illuminated vanity mirrors, power retractable heated mirrors and remote locking system, sliding sunroof with pop-up feature, Xenon headlamps, power four-wheel-disc brakes with ABS and Brake Assist, Rain-sensing windshield wipers, anti-theft and vehicle-electronic stability program (ESP) system, alloy wheels with less than 10K miles Michelin tires 235/60R16 and two sets of keys. I purchased this Benz from am old neighbor who could not drive it anymore. This Benz spent most of the winters in Florida State and had a Florida title. I got this vehicle in January 2010 with only 34K miles on it. It required a few repairs that time. I replaced old tires with a new set of Michelins. The brakes, rotors and calipers were also replaced. The tranny pan gasket was leaking and I took care of replacing all tranny fluid and placing a new filter, gasket and pan. The blower regulator was also replaced. Everything was done according to the manufacturing specifications and recommendations at the auto shop. During my ownership I did an engine oil change with synthetic oil only. During my ownership the front left fender was dented and I replaced that fender with an original Mercedes fender. The front bumper got scuffed and I opened an insurance claim but never fixed it. These two issues are indicated in the AutoCheck. The rear bumper have a little scuffs when I bought the vehicle but I did not worry to fix it. You can see those scuffs on the listed pictures. This vehicle is in excellent condition and ready for its next owner. The powertrain is in a very good condition, the automatic tranny and engine are in a very good shape, strong and smooth, as one should expect from the S class Benz. The engine is solid; it starts fast and runs flawlessly with smooth acceleration. This vehicle is solid and very powerful. The ride is solid and stable. The interior appearance and condition is also superb. All interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in excellent condition. The trim is also in very good condition. The interior of this car looks very clean and mint, like brand new. All the seating surfaces are undamaged and in excellent condition. The carpet is in excellent condition; all carpeting is clean with excellent nap. The vehicle looks great, take a look on the pictures. It is a non-smoker car, and there are no interior odors. All the factory books are present and stored in a leather case. This Benz is in superb condition. This is very reliable vehicle and it needs nothing. It just passed the state inspection in February 2011. It has an excellent fuel economy and safety rating. It is very comfortable and very adaptable. It drives with a great visibility and good road handling. The mechanical, electrical and drive-train components are in tip-top shape. I am enjoying riding this vehicle. There are no other cars that have that kind of ride. You going to like the feel and look, I guarantee it! It only needs a two things. The SRS light and windshield washer light come on and off and stay on occasionally. On the top of the final price I charge $120 registration fee that EBay charges to get it listed. I accept certified bank checks or personal check. The checks should be cleared prior the pick up. I will not release the vehicle until funds will get cleared by the bank. As soon as I get funds from the winner I will send the title overnight delivery with confirmation. Non refundable deposit $500 required within 36 hours after auction ends. Remaining balance must be paid within 3 days after auction ends. I am not using PayPal for deposit or full payment transactions. I sell this vehicle locally and have the rights to end this listing early or refuse to sell it to the highest bidder if vehicle sold locally. Shipping is available.
