This is a 1979 Triumph Bonneville 140D , 750cc with Matching Numbers for the pure'est. Custom Cafe Seat and Tank Pad , Straight Handle Bars, small turn signals, Road Lights, Tombstone Tail Light, Factory Mags with Metezler Rubber, Factory Disc Brakes, New Gators over the forks and fork seals / fork oil replaced about a year ago. Factory Electronic Ignition , fires up first or second kick. Extra's: Orig. Factory Large Rear Tail Light , Clutch Cable, Rear Foot Peg, Orig. Factory Seat , Factory Tail Pipe Haynes Service Manual, Original Owners Manual. Bike History: This Bike spent most of its life on the Central Coast of California , always garaged and covered. I believe I am the 3rd owner. For a 30 year old, running bike, it is in very great shape. I rode it around the block without a helmet and it sounded fine. I do not Know if, when, or how long ago the engine was gone through but it does sound like it has higher lift Cam. With very little time and money this would make a fully restored or an excellent stripped down Classic Cafe Bike. Loose the fenders, put on clip'ons, leave only a Tach in the center of the bars, etc..Oh Yeah... Bike has a Clear Title and is Registerd Non Op due to job loss.
