1965 chevrolet 1/2 ton long wide fleetside. '94 350cu/5.7L crate motor with TH350 automatic trans. Flowmaster dual exhaust. Edlebrock intake and carb with HEI. The front end has been lowered with drop springs and spindles. Brakes have been updated to power disc in front and power drum in rear.The rear is lowered with blocks and coils and adjustable panhard bar. The 6 lugs wheels have been convered to 5 lug all the way around and the rear axle ratio has been changed to 3.08 to get better gas milage.The tranny has a slight leak at the pan seal and the passenger side tierod end needs to be replaced (starting to get loose) The body is in good shape with a few minor dents and scraches. it has been repainted but it was many years ago. The interior is the original fawn paint but the seat has been changed to a newly recovered one that I had. The colors don't match but its a really good seat. The grill is out of a big truck. The front fenders have some rust but the rest of the truck is in good shape. The cab floors had some rust but have been fixed. door bottoms are perfect and don't have any speaker holes in them. The original wood is under a sheet of plywood. The windshield and gasket are new. Tires are new Mastercraft 2235/75/15 on stock steelies with old school 10 inch moon caps.The battery,brakes,and driveline are all new too.Its not perfect but its a great start on a real nice driver or restoration project.This pickup drives great and gets looks and compliments everywhere I go.
