Low Reserve auction on a relatively low mileage, rust- free and in Stock Condition 1997 Honda Civic DX with a 5-Speed Transmission. This Front Wheel Drive 2 -Door Coupe has the 1.6L L4 SOHC 16V engine. EPA has rated fuel mileage for this Civic up to 38 MPG. There are no mechanical or maintenance issues with the Civic DX. The engine starts up & runs good and the transmission & clutch are fine with no problems or issues. The brake lines and CV Joints are new. About the only things that are non-stock are the muffler and radio. There is a State Safety Inspection Sticker that is valid through June/2011. The body is in very good condition for the year. The Civic is rust free including the undercarriage, floor pan and strut towers. The prior owner had had the Civic painted (still the original dark green color). The body is free of any major dents, but does have some dings & scratches as may be seen in some of the photos. The interior is in overall good condition. There is a Sony AM/FM CD System installed. The 60/40 split rear seat folds down for extra trunk storage space. The Civic has Goodyear Assurance P185/70R 14” Radial Tires that are almost new and still have approx. 85-95% tread life remaining. There is no cracked or broken glass and all lights, turn signals, wipers, horn and heating controls work fine. The A/C System works fine. The sale includes a Clear Maine Title & Bill of Sale. Along with the Experian Auto Check Report, a Full Carfax Vehicle History Report is included. Sale includes the Original Owners Manual and a Haynes Civic Service Book. I will consider delivering the Civic at a convenient location within 100 miles and possibly further if travel expenses are covered.
