Well, reluctantly I have my favorite project for sale: Her name is RUTH! I need space not the money so I wont give her away! Try to buy a solid 1962 Thunderbird convertible for the reserve price of this auction....NOT!! Calling me directly is probably the best way to discover how solid and how cool this car really is. EVERYBODY LOVES RUTH!! But I will try to describe her below: She is a “VERY SOLID” 1962 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop that was converted into a Convertible “Parade Car”. It was done very well and per the last owner who owned this car for 20+ years the car was converted back in the 1980’s. The original Hardtop has been made to go back on the car in about 15 minutes. I have even hunted down an original Rust Free and “EXPENSIVE” convertible Flip Panel that I had planned to weld in so visually it will look perfect. As well I purchased a very expensive Tonneau cover for the car It is unmounted and unpainted and comes with mounting kit. As for the car itself it has 98,xxx original miles and runs and drives good. I did over 225 miles in it over the last few months. It does run a bit rough so it could use a tune up. It does have a few minor oil leaks As well as a manifold exhaust leak. It is a project and will need restoration of cosmetics mostly, like the interior and paint but the body is very solid (Trunk, Floors, etc). Many new parts have been added like exhaust, rims and tires, battery, front suspension parts etc. Car Has a Clear NJ Title.
