Good afternoon everyone. Please read this ad in it's entirety. Up for sale is my 1995 Saab convertible 900S, white with gray interior and automatic transmission. I'll try to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge. If you are just looking for some summer fun or a cheap vehicle with good gas mileage, this would be it. It would also make an excellent first vehicle for the new driver as these Saabs have received an excellent rating by Consumer Affairs for safety and reliabilty. I'll start with the description, there is no rust and the white paint is in average condition. There are a few scratches and the leather seats are cracked pretty heavily, but there are no tears or holes. (drivers seat has a patch). The air conditioning needs a charge and I think that's about it for the negatives. Remember, you are buying a couple of thousand dollar car with 140k miles and it's no where near new condition. I purchased this vehicle about a year and a half ago from my next door neighbor who purchased it when it was 1 year old. It has always been professionally maintained and mechanically is in excellent condition. The current inspection is valid thru the end of 2011. It just had an oil change this week. The tires were replaced less than 5k miles ago. It has a power top with no rips and also has power windows, cruise control and an alarm - and everything works properly. You can expect 26-32 mpg with this car. I travel 600 miles to my vacation home with this car on a regular basis. It is a very reliable vehicle. I would feel comfortable driving it myself or giving it to a family member to take cross country. 3k miles ago I advised my mechanic to look over the entire car and make sure everything was perfect due to my long distance travel. I would think my mechanic is looking for business, but the only thing he could find was the engine accessory belt was cracking, which he replaced. I have all the owners mauals as pictured and again it's only been between 2 people for the last 15 years. There is no reserve on this auction.
