Vehicle Detail

1990 F-250 Well kept, never used commercially so far as I know. This truck has been in the family for ten years or more, and served us all well. Lightly driven, and runs like a deer...better yet, it runs like a Ford F-250 Diesel. Exterior: Personally repainted in the early 2000's, so it could use a fresh coat of paint, and some minor rust repair around the fender wells and NERF bars. Worked a small amount of body filler here and there to cover some old rust damage during paint prep. Missing one of the F-250 Custom signs, the other is in the toolbox. Theres a 5th wheel plate welded into the bed, and the bed needs another splash of rubber. Has 2" Reese hitch installed and wired for trailer lights, with a full kit of adapters in the tool box. Tool box is in great shape. Drivers side front turn indicator cover is broken. Nearly new tread on all 4 tires, front-Mastercraft, rear-BF Goodrich with Eagle Alloy rims. There are a few surface dents, and dings here and there, but overall, its in great shape. Interior: Well kept, and maintained. The seats need a cover as the vinyl has cracked on the driver's side pretty bad. Seats fold well, with plenty of room behind them for storage. NO passenger side airbag. The windows and locks all work well, and gauges and receiver all illuminate like they should. You can see in the pictures a shot of the glove compartment fix, where the latch weakened, and a new cross member was installed. Floorboards are in great shape, no holes or weird stuff happening. Seat belts work fine. The arm rests on the doors have been removed as they were old and cracked, (old Ford vinyl, man...) but I found that the door panel was enough for me. Mechanical and Electrical: Runs like a top. Electrically, everything is fine, except the front fuel tank. It does not register when the switch is flipped, completely beyond me. Tried many times, with many fixes, and nothing seemed to work, so, I just use it as a reserve. After market Kenwood CD/AM/FM receiver and two 6x9's in the back with two 4's on the doors. It won't bump hard enough to make your neighbors mad, but its loud enough for an old guy like me. Ext. Lights work great, as well as interior. Wipers are fully operational. Mechanically, again, everything is fine except the power steering pump needs a new inlet screw, so it leaks a little. When its driven a lot, I may need to add a 1/4 quart every few months. Not a big deal, and I have been advised to just let it ride as its been this way for about a year. Also, the breather from the air filter is missing. Has a block heater, the plug is fastened inside of the front bumper for winter overnights. I am a soldier, and do a thorough PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Service) quarterly on my personal vehicles. This truck is in excellent condition, and the big diesel is barely broken in. Summary: We've had this truck for a long time, and its served us well, I'm only selling it because of a move. If I didn't have to because of parking arrangements, you wouldn't be reading this. We call her Betty. I like to think that I know this truck inside and out. I only listed so many faults because I want to be up front about this auction, to which so many people are not these days. You can trust me when I say that this truck will serve you faithfully, as she has my family. Buy it today, and you shouldn't need anything but an oil change for the next few years. Thanks for stopping by...Happy Bidding!!! ***********Update!********* I am seeing an odometer discrepancy in the vehicle check, I double checked, and double checked again and this vehicle has only rolled over once. It does exceed mechanical limits on the Indiana title due to the limitations on the physical odometer itself. (number of odometer number slots) The mileage in 1995 should not have a 1 in front of it, whereas the other years should. The Mileage I listed is the actual mileage, not add 100k. Thanks!!!
