1970 1/2 FIREBIRD FORMULA - 400/330hp, Original Matching Numbers Motor, the motor starts and runs. Muncie 4spd with Hurst Shifter, has new clutch assembly. The original rare color is LUCERNE BLUE, very good looking and popular color that you really don't see to much, but when you do see it, the color really sticks out. The drivers side front fender is in good shape, the drivers side door down low below the door handle in the corner has a small rust hole. The lower drivers rear quarter has some bubbling down low, the upper quarter looks to be in good shape. The lower rear valance has some small bubbling and a very small rust hole, the upper fiberglass valance has a small crack on the passanger side. The passanger quarter down low has some small bubbling and a small pin hole, the upper quarter looks pretty good. The passanger lower door on the corner below the door handle has a small rust hole and some small bubbling. The passanger fender below the chrome molding has a small rust hole. The floors and the trunk look pretty good, over all the body just needs some small metal patch pieces, no major complete panel replacement, just small stuff. The paint is in fair shape, the body looks pretty straight, has some cracks and chips in the paint from age, but over all not to bad. The Formula Black Standard interior has the woodgrain dash along with the one year only low back bucket seats with the original small headrest, the black interior looks like its pretty much original and in pretty fair shape for its age and is pretty complete. The Formula has its original RAM AIR Dual SNORKEL HOOD, along with front and rear sway bars, and its original rally 2 wheels, also has it's original 400/330 hp matching number motor that runs, plus from the factory it was manual tranny car, and has the rear spoiler, over all it's a pretty complete rare car that runs, and has been in storage for many years. Great rare project to work on, I would just go threw everything on the car befor you take it on a road trip, just because it's been in storage for years. This Formula 400 is a pretty rare car that you really don't see that much, plus it's rare and very popular color combo, that is LUCERNE BLUE CODE 26 26 with the Black interior, plus it's the first year for the 1970 1/2 Formula 400, also they didn't make many of these Forumla 400 with the combinations it came with.
