Bidding on a 1989 Mustang GT conv, car runs real nice, has the 5.0 motor in it, AOD trans, 8.8 rear 3.55 gears.Now the good, car runs real good, has new rims and tires on it , skinny fronts 165, rear tires are 255/60-15 , rims brand new, just replaced entire headlight housings, car still has original exhaust besides flowmaster mufflers, no rust on car, interior in very good shape, new Autometer Tach installed . Now the bad , oh course you can see the conv top needs to be replaced (rips in top and back window busted out, prevoius owners wife did that ???) but conv top does work and goes up and down, the paint job is 12 years old and shows chips in paint and some areas are peeling, the drivers side door will need the door hinge pins and bushings replaced(but I have new ones that go with car) because you have to lift door up to close, also have to open door from inside ,outside handle will not open door, been told thats a easy fix, passenger side window motor bad(I have both rear side window new motors that go with car also) .
