1999 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY PICK UP TRUCK WITH SNOW PLOW EXTENDED CAB LONG BED 4 WHEEL DRIVE 6.8 LITER V-10 ENGINE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AIR CONDITIONING (WORKS GREAT) CRUISE CONTROL TILT WHEEL POWER WINDOWS POWER LOCKS (STICKS SOMETIMES) POWER DRIVER'S SEAT POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES SNOW PLOW WITH POWER ANGLE (BLADE IN REALLY NICE SHAPE) TIRES IN REALLY NICE CONDITION This is a two owner truck. We purchased it in 2003 with 56301 miles on it. We put the plow on it and have only used the truck to plow our own driveway and very occasional trips to Home Depot, etc. We have only put 11,000 miles on it in 8 years. This truck has served us well until the middle of last winter. We slid at the end of our driveway and hit a post on the right rear quarter panel, causing a dent and some subsequent rust. There is some surface rust under the truck and on the frame, but no rust through. About 2 weeks later (we had a rough winter), we were plowing again and the transmission seemed to go out. The truck will go in reverse but slips badly in forward. It also is now stuck in four wheel drive. One mechanic said he thinks it needs a transmission rebuild and another thought it might be the transfer case. We purchased another plow truck as we had no time to fix this one and now it is for sale. The truck is easy to see but, if you win, prepare to trailer it because of the transmission problem. I might be able to deliver it somewhere locally for you. Sorry for the dirt on the truck in the pictures, it wouldn't fit through the car wash on the trailer.
