1974 Honda XL70

This1974 Honda XL70 has been mechanically restored leaving the original paint on the tank. It runs and drives well, but needs the final electrical connections to be made for the lights. The turn signals and headlight are new. The speedometer was reconditioned and the odometer set to zero. The seat was recovered with a new skin. Mechanically the following was done; engine removed from frame, frame painted, chassis parts rebuilt, engine tuned, carb cleaned, petcock rebuilt and brakes adjusted. New parts: fork seals, front sproket, chain, cush drive, swingarm bushings, engine seals, tires (correct sizes) and inner tubes, hand grips, wheel bearings, shock mount nut, tail light, kick start rubber, speedo cable, turn signal stalks, Rear fender is an original Preston Petty accessory item. The tank is rust free and has two small dents on the right side. I haven't installed the mirrors, but the threads are good in the mounts. The exhaust pipe and muffler have some dents.
