Up for auction is a very solid and hard to find 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne shortbox fleetside 2wd. If you are looking for an exellent deal on a Cheyenne shorty this might be the rig for you. This truck originaly came out of dry central Oregon. The truck still wears it's original paint and trim! The pics dont show all the beuty as the camera and sun make it look faded. The bumpers and grill shell have been replaced. This shorty is very solid and no issues underneath! It has two small bubbles on the drivers rocker panel and some small dings hear and there. The original 350 was ditched in favor of a healthy rebuilt 1969 427/325hp that was bored .030 over w/forged pistons, aggressive hyd. camshaft,Edelbrock RPM AIR GAP intake,Holley street avenger carb,HEI,MSD control and Headers. Makes over 400 HP! New 4 core radiator,dual electric fans, built TH350 w/shift Kit,12bolt 3.73 posi,3inch exhaust with Flowmasters. The truck runs and drives great with plenty of power to spare!! The running gear has a estimated 4500 miles. The interior is an original white houndstooth (Have new cover) with tach dash w/ vacume gauge, new tilt column, new corvette comfort grip steering wheel. The dash is stock and uncut with original a.m. radio. This rig has also been professionaly lowered by a local tire and wheel shop. Also has real 20x10 American torq thrust wheels and plenty of tread to spare. So far the truck has had over $16k in upgrades added too it. The paint has it's wear marks were the paint has been buffed through. But over all looks great for it's age! Finish it off with a new paint job or keep it the way it is?
