For sale is a black 2000 Land Rover Discovery II in good condition. Sunroof, 6 CD changer, Harman/Kardon sound, tan leather, 122,604 miles. Clean and 100% smoke free. A/C and heat work well. Technically a three-owner vehicle, but essentially a two owner, one family vehicle. This Disco was a Land Rover dealer vehicle until 10,000 miles and bought by my mom in September of 2000. She gave the car to me in 2007 and I've been taking good care of it since. This Rover has received regular maintenance and fixes, performed either by Land Rover Orlando, Land Rover Austin, or Austin's highly-rated Gene Johnson Garage. The car looks and drives great. Engine runs strong and the car drives really solidly. Of course, being a Land Rover of its age, there are a few things that could use fixing. I had Johnson Garage take a look and their report is attached (AAA certified inspection). There are minor coolant and oil leaks, a brake job is in order, and they note that battery service is needed (though I forgot to follow-up on what exactly that means, as the electric system checks out fine on the report). Hopefully this helps--serious buyers are of course welcome to conduct their own pre-purchase inspection. The report notes that the jack handle and tire remover tool are missing, but I found them and they will be in the vehicle. Also, it notes that a rear wiper blade is needed, but I have a new one I haven't installed yet and this is included with the purchase. The front wipers are brand new from Land Rover. This car is a really solid driver with a comfy, premium interior. There's minor exterior scratching and minor interior wear--all documented in the pics below. There are a couple of missing units on the front bumper--I think they keep the headlights clean?--also seen in the pics, as well as a missing center cap from the front right wheel ($10 part). One key fob, one spare. Overall, a great car. Happy bidding.
