Why we chose this unbelievable 1999 Corvette convertible: The first thing that grabbed us is the enormous wheels and wide, wide rear rubber. (305/30ZR19) Then, we fired it up. The subdued but menacing Borla exhaust sounds just a serious as it looks and the red calipers with slotted/cross drilled rotors say everything that needs to be said about this powerful black rocket. Of course the high dollar wheels puts this stunning 'Vette on everybody's best dressed list and when you peek through those wheels you'll see some very pricey slotted/cross-drilled rotors. A look underneath reveals a (also pricey) Borla "Stinger" cat-back exhaust system that gives this Corvette serious throttle response. The market will always be strong for Corvettes, especially convertibles and especially convertibles optioned like this bad boy wearing spectacular black paint. You're going to look good in this Corvette. Viva Las Vegas Automotive Boot Camp: Our 130 point inspection found clean/topped off fluids, smooth fiberglass and great paint. The interior is beautiful, the convertible top looks nearly new and the 19 inch CCW alloy wheels are awesome. It's missing the CD changer magazine and there are some light scrapes on the wheels if you bend down and look real close. All lights and equipment work perfectly and this Corvette drives solid, stops straight and does not shake, rattle or vibrate at any speed. This Audio System was working here but it will glitch and not come out which right now, that is the case. Possible deck problem or connection??? We're not Stereo Fans, You know what you like too.
